AC Milan have confirmed that striker Theo Hernandez has suffered a knee injury and will be out for "several weeks." The Argentine forward was taken off during the team's 2-1 win over Napoli on Saturday, after appearing to twist his knee.

Hernandez joined AC Milan from Barcelona in January this year for a fee reported at €40 million ($46 million). He made a positive start to life in Serie A, scoring two goals in his first four games.

The news is likely to raise concerns about Hernandez's fitness ahead of the upcoming Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain next week. However, it's not clear whether he'll miss more than just a few weeks with the knee problem.

In the meantime, AC Milan will need to find a replacement for Hernandez up front. The club currently has several options available, including Carlos Bacca,Premier League Updates who scored a brace in the victory over Napoli, and new signing Romelu Lukaku.

Meanwhile, AC Milan will also face a test against Inter Milan later this month, with both teams looking to maintain their title challenge. It promises to be a tough match, but one that could provide valuable points for both sides as they battle it out for the top spot in Serie A.
